The worst experience I’ve ever had.
I’ve never experienced anything this disappointing in my life. My friend ordered a meal that was listed as $18 on the menu, but we were charged $26 at the register. The same man cooked the food and rang it up, and his attitude was incredibly rude and unpleasant. He looked like he was angry at us just for ordering.
I understand people can be tired or busy, but if you’re running a business, basic manners are the least we expect. The price wasn’t even the main issue — it was the way we were treated.
To make things worse, the food I received was burnt and looked disgusting. The salad was just thrown onto the plate like trash. I can’t even eat much meat normally, but after this, I don’t want to eat it again at all. I’ve been feeling sick for two days since eating here.
For $26, I could’ve had two proper meals somewhere else. We only came in for a few chocolates, and I truly regret it. Every time I’ve visited this store, the staff have been unfriendly, but this time was beyond unacceptable.
If this business wants to survive, they need to retrain or replace their staff. I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities. The food, the service, and the attitude were all disgusting. I truly have no words.
Do NOT go here. Complete disappointment.
First time coming here, here is almost best Turkish supermarket in town. This note is for the owner of business; kitchen has no any menue to see foods, but there was a younge man who was very polite to talk. We need to learn Canadadian culture which is mentioning customers rights. Thank
Anatolian Fine Food Market is truly a gem in Canada! It’s the place where we can always find the Turkish products we’ve been missing and craving. From authentic cheeses, olives, and spices to fresh bakery items and sweets, everything reminds us of home. The quality is excellent, prices are fair, and the staff is always kind and helpful. We are so grateful to have this market bringing the taste of Turkey closer to us in Canada.
I come here every weekend and have been very satisfied overall. The young staff member working in the restaurant section is especially hardworking and polite. However, since weekends are quite busy, having a bit more supporting staff could be helpful. It would allow the current staff member to provide service more comfortably during peak times. Still, we were very pleased with everything — thank you!
Anatolian is hands down my go-to butcher shop. The staff is always so helpful and kind, making the experience easy and enjoyable every time. The quality of their meat is absolutely top-tier you can truly taste the difference.
What I love most is that they give you real value for your money. No lowballing or hidden costs just fair, honest pricing and generous portions. Whether you’re looking for specialty cuts, fresh poultry, or everyday essentials, they have everything you need.
Highly recommend to anyone who cares about quality, flavor, and amazing service. Anatolian never disappoints!
