My very 1st time ever (45 yrs) trying Turkish/Mediterranean food. And OMG how delicious. This restaurant is by far one of the best places to come eat. Freshness, cleanliness and amazing customer service alone is a win. But they possess all the qualities needed for an amazing experience. The sweetest and loveliest family. Thank you so much for the wonderful food and such great hospitality.
I’m a lil upset for not taking a pic of my dish which was the chicken kebob with rice and salad but I did get my boys which was the pastrami & cheese “pizza”. And bonus the baklava with coffee 🤤 I give Galata a 100 out of 10, you must try ❤️👌
Gata Food Market in Tampa is a true gem for Turkish cuisine lovers! Their pide and lahmacun are outstanding, with perfect flavors and fresh ingredients. I missed the highly recommended döner, but I’m already excited for my next visit. The small store offers tasty baklava and other Turkish treats, and their piere is a must-try! The owner and staff are super friendly, creating a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this promising spot for an authentic and delicious experience!
Best turkish breakfast in Tampa! Staff are extremely nice and welcoming. Pastrami and soujouk pide is absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend anyone to try at least once before they get addicted.
Galata is a quaint, cafe, and marketplace. They offer a grill menu of about twenty entrees under $20. We ordered the Lamb Adana and chicken kebab. Both were very tasty. The owner was very friendly, too.
