We live in the area and had been wanting to check out this store for a while. Now that the weather is nicer, we often take our 4-year old on evening walks and like to stop by local spots for a treat. We visited on a Wednesday around 7:30 PM, hoping to pick up a variety of desserts and maybe some meat to grill. I had even browsed the store’s Instagram beforehand to get an idea of what to expect.
When we arrived, a girl was sitting outside on her phone. She followed us in and turned out to be the cashier or possibly a staff or owner it wasn’t clear. What was clear, though, was that there was no greeting, no “hello,” and no offer of help. The store felt empty aside from items on the shelves. There was no visible meat or butcher section, and the dessert area was minimal, with very few options available.
As we asked her a few questions, she kept glancing at her watch, giving us the impression that we were bothering her or keeping her from something more important. It felt rude and unwelcoming.
Despite the poor service, we still made a purchase and spent hard earned money even though we should’ve just left. That said, customer service matters, and this interaction left a bad impression. To the owners: please train your staff or consider hiring someone who will represent your business in a way that encourages customers to RETURN not drives them away. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.
The bakery was amazing! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Will dine in again. The cashier Roni was so helpful and polite. 10/10 would dine in again.
I tried the lahmacun with my family, it was delicious and so reasonable price. 6 cad per piece within tax. Size was close to the middle size pizza. I highly recommend trying it.
