⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just checked out Toronto Cig Kofte Bakkal and wow – what a gem! Honestly felt like I was back in Istanbul for a moment. 🇹🇷
They’ve got all the Turkish goodies you’d expect, plus fresh food. I tried the toasts (with kaşar cheese, kavurma, and sucuk) and also the çiğ köfte wrap – everything was super tasty and the prices are really fair.
Big shoutout to the two ladies working there – so friendly and helpful. Their kindness honestly made my day. Feels good to walk into a place where you’re welcomed with a smile.
If you’re in Toronto and craving real Turkish vibes and flavors, this spot is a must. I’ll definitely be coming back!
As a Turkish woman living in Toronto, I’ve been searching for authentic çiğ köfte that tastes like home — and this is it. We are regulars, both at the shop and through delivery to our downtown home. Even with the delivery fee, we keep coming back because the taste is simply unmatched.
We visited the Toronto Çiğ Köfte location again today and tried their grilled wraps with both bazlama and somun bread — absolutely delicious! Sahra Hanım, who was working during our visit, is incredibly kind, professional, and warm. The place is spotless and beautifully run. Knowing that it’s a woman-owned business makes it even more special and inspiring.
I’ve also tried their stuffed grape leaves (sarma), stuffed peppers (dolma), and frozen mantı (Turkish dumplings) — all excellent. Their market section has a surprising variety of Turkish products too.
If you’re in Toronto, don’t miss it. And if you’re not nearby — find a way to get there. Whether you’re Turkish, Canadian, or simply a food lover, you’ll find some of the most delicious flavors right here.
Highly, highly recommended!
Love this spot! Best Cig Kofte I’ve had in North America! I’ve been back here 10+ times in a matter of weeks. Delicious, freshly made, hefty wraps for $10 with impeccable service! Very kind ladies running shop here - Esin was so sweet and made my wraps to perfection! A must visit for cig kofte!
