Nice, clean, and cozy market with a good variety of Turkish food. From my last shopping, I really enjoyed the frozen pistachio baklava—it turned out way better than I expected once thawed. The bulgur was great too.
The only thing I’d recommend is adding more price labels on the food items—some were missing, which made it a bit hard to shop.
If you love Turkish food or love trying new food look no further than Avrasya Market. While it looks quaint from the outside this family owned market it is PACKED with great food. The market has a variety of choices from snacks, spices, meats, cheeses, pastries, honey, sweets, tea and more. If you’re looking to try something new I recommend starting with halloumi, knafeh, simit, and/or pizza (the small snack, not American pizza). If you’re debating if you should try something at the market the answers always yes, I’ve never had anything bad there.
The staff (owner?) was very friendly. If you like sweets, they have a wide variety of Turkish chocolate and other snacks, coffee and assorted food items. The staff recommended Karam Gurume. It was very rich and delicious! Will definitely stop by again.
As a native Turkish person, I love this market! They have a very impressive selection of products considering the small space they work with. Very efficiently used space! Check out the wide variety of cheeses, meats, snacks, spices and much more! Also they keep saying they will add more products as they establish more. 10/10 would recommend!
Great Turkish coffee and accessories. I am so glad I passed by here and looked inside, as the prices are much better than I’ve seen online. I’ve tried some assorted snacks from this shop as well and the kids have really enjoyed them.
