I can say it’s the best Turkish market in the area. You can find everything you’re looking for, and the prices are reasonable. Also, the owner, Mr. Alişan, is so polite and warmhearted that I can’t even describe it. In a place where some sellers wouldn’t hesitate to lie just to make a sale, Mr. Alişan honestly tells you which product is best for you, even if it’s not the most expensive one.Once you visit this market, you’re no longer just a customer , you become a friend.
This is a turkish grocery store. They carry a fresh wide assortment of nuts plain or chocolate covered and dried fruits. Also carry an assortment of fresh olives. You pick your own and add pay by weight. There is a wide assortment of turkish grocery products and breads. Though a bit tight store has very nice and friendly atmosphere. The owner always greets you and with a smile. We love shopping there for authentic products you don't find in any grocery. Two thumbs up!!!
Great to have such an amazing store. They will be moving into a new (larger) store soon. Excited to hear more products will be available in the new location.
This is hands down the best Turkish store in New York! They have everything you could possibly need and more. The selection of food is incredible, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming. I’m especially impressed with their frozen section—the simit, manti, and baklavas are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this gem!
I am from Turkey and when I first got to long island I have visited couple of Turkish markets around. The other were typical no good turkish markets and I have forgotten them already. This is a nice place, clean and the owner is really friendly. It is worth going there. (I am 25 mins away)
