The idea for Horizon began as a butcher shop and quickly evolved into a full-fledged grocery. a week agoI recently purchased a whole bonito fish (palamut -$30) from Horizon Turkish Market and was told it had been caught just two days earlier and had never been frozen. The meat was extremely soft and literally fell apart in my hands while cleaning it, almost like cooked fish. The thicker middle section was so fragile that I couldn’t even slice it properly, while the tail section remained firm. This is definitely not what I would expect from fresh, properly stored fish. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel comfortable eating it and had to throw it away. I communicated them via their social media to figure out what’s wrong with the fish, but they never responded. Very disappointing experience.
