Horizon Turkish Supermarket

We had a great experience here. The store is incredibly clean and well organized. Both gentleman we spoke with were really friendly and we even learned a few things. Like the red jalepenos are a Turkish seed variety grown by only TWO farms in this country. I believe he said they were from a farm in Pennsylvania. While we there, there was a commercial being recorded for the restaurant inside which we of course ate at. It's called Horizon Restaurant & Cafe. It's gotten a lot of attention on tik-tok lately. The restaurant owner is extremely nice and makes the best spinach and cheese doner I've had. We will certainly be back to eat and shop again!

I had very disappointed experience with Horizon Turkish Supermarket. We bought some snacks, and every single one of them was past due. I only realized something was wrong after taking a bite because it was hard and stale. I’m attaching photos as proof. We also bought bread that was supposed to be fresh, but it was stale as well. Selling past due items and stale food is completely unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to check every item for expiration dates before buying them. This was not my first but definitely my last time shopping here. I hope the management takes food safety more seriously.

This place is wonderful! Me and my husband lived in Istanbul for a couple of years and we are SO excited to have found this store. They have an amazing selection of Turkish products, produce, dairy, and frozen goods. There is a butcher counter with some of the best quality items I've seen, super clean and beautifully organized. We chatted with the butcher himself and he was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. There is a café inside as well with a wide selection of fresh, delicious, handmade Turkish foods so we had to order some! We also chatted with the couple who runs the café and they were so kind and happy to talk with us about the business. The fresh produce they had was of great quality as well, and the prices are extremely reasonable! I absolutely recommend coming to this business, even if you arent firmiliar with Turkish foods, it's a wonderful experience. And definitely if you are looking for Turkish products this is *the* place to go, you'll be so happy that you did. We can't wait to go back!

Based on my first visit to this store, the positive reviews must be old! The store is extremely under stocked and over priced compared to other similar stores. The meat is turning brown in packages and produce look old and saggy. I was shocked with how high the prices of packaged products are. Overall, the near empty parking lot seems to reflect well on how this store is doing.
