In the past few years, I have shopped at Efes Market as I work in the area. The ownership of the business has recently been altered. Over the last several visits, I have noticed a positive change in my experience. There are a variety of Russian and Turkish goods on display, as well as freshly prepared food and hot brewed Turkish tea at reasonable prices. There is a friendly atmosphere here among the staff. There is a Turkish breakfast available in the morning, but it is quickly run out.
I'm happy that I've found this hidden gem. The products are diverse varying from Armenian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, etc.
Both owner and wife were super helpful and are gentle souls. He took his time taking my order over the phone making sure we didn't miss anything for my big weekend. His wife makes the boreks fresh and they're sooo delicious!!! ♡
I 100% recommend checking out this store. They tons of options for Mediterranean style breakfast at home. They have baked savory pastries, dessert options, cold cuts like pastrima (so yummy) candy bars, drinks, frozen foods, ice creams, frozen desserts, pantry items, the list goes on. All with fair pricing.
I looooooove this deli. A new owner took over this place and when I say they are amazing thats exactly what they are. The owners are a young couple who loves their neighborhood and proud owner of this amazing Turkish/Russian deli. If you are from either of those countries and wants amazing service check them out. The husband Bugra will talk a lot about the store but thats because he is a proud owner. The wife Zoey is the most loving and respectful person you will ever meet. Also she is beautiful and fun so guys be careful lol.
