Food was good, however, they were not appealing. Dumplings were not good, no taste and very, not appealing. We ordered meatballs, which were very small for $25. Five very small and not attractive meatballs. I believe this is too expensive for such meatballs. You can see photos of meatballs. Other food was not bad, but again the portions were very small. The prices are very high. We wouldn’t return there although we live very close to this place. Basically we were also surprised that as a Turkish restaurant they have no treats like salads or maze. So we were not happy with the prices in the look of the food. If the place wants consistent clients, then they should consider relevancy of their price of their food. The service is not good. It’s very slow. They brought meatballs first and then the soup. Normally, it should be on the contrary
This is a delightful Turkish Lounge, Cafe and Hookah bar :-) very warm and welcoming services! Casual yet charming atmosphere and delicious food! We enjoyed and devoured the Lahmacun (Turkish flatbread with ground beef & veggies), the Manti (Turkish Homemade Ravioli) which i enjoyed with the Roasted Eggplant Salad. Took home some house-made Pogaca (potato and cheese traditional pastry) and ended it with none other than traditional Turkish coffee ☕️ and tea! Wonderful experience, can't wait to try more things next time!
A place where my soul can truly relax
🤤We tried mercimek çorbası, çiğ köfte, and the veggie scrambled eggs, but I didn’t take any photos — everything looked so delicious we just started eating right away!
All the food was absolutely tasty!
🥰The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They’re happy to explain the dishes and chat with you about the love for Türkiye — which we definitely share!
They also offer shisha and a variety of board and card games — dominoes, Uno, regular playing cards — which makes it a perfect spot to chill with friends and enjoy a laid-back evening.
🧿Everything in the café is served on beautiful dishes that make the Turkish atmosphere even more authentic. The decor also adds to the feeling that you’ve stepped right into a cozy café in the heart of Istanbul.
If you want to experience Turkish cuisine and soak in the warm Turkish vibes — this is the place to be♥️
P.S. Be warned: Istanbul Lounge Cafe might leave you craving a trip back to Istanbul!🧳
Incredible!! The definition of a hidden gem. Tucked away in a strip mall off a feeder street, lies this awesome cafe. True Turkish coffee and excellent Turkish baking had me in awe. The Borek caught me completely off guard, it was so delicious, I'd recomend the Cheese Borek paired with the Dibek coffee. I'll 100% be back for more. A new favorite!
Food was amazing, fresh & delicious!!! The meals were very comforting. Enjoyed the mousaka, ottoman kunefe & Turkish coffee. The place had a good vibe & comfortable. Server was friendly & helpful. It is a hidden gem. Highly recommend this restaurant!
