They have really pretty Turkish delight. Tried it on Italian Day at their stall. It was very unique and interesting. Tried the strawberry Kaydafi one and it tasted like strawberry Pocky coating. It’s very sweet and dense.
I absolutely adore their baklava!
They have pistachio, walnut, and peanut varieties, and they taste incredibly authentic—just like in Istanbul.
Aside from the sweets, they stock a great selection of Turkish staples, including chocolates, sodas, grains, and more. They also have an excellent selection of Turkish cheeses, olives, and teas. The owner is also incredibly welcoming and friendly.
I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves baklava and Turkish delicacies!
OMG the Turkish delight here is amazing!
We will definitely be back to try more.
The staff here are very friendly and helpful, the store itself is pretty jam packed its almost to jam packed!! But its got all your Mediterranean foods and sauces. They have other baked goods about 12 different types of Baklava.
Awesome store will be back!!!
We visited this store while meandering down Commercial Dr. The gentlemen at the front counter was welcoming and helpful. We bought Turkish delight and some apple tea - trying to recapture memories of our visit to Turkey 10 years ago. They had a great selection of Turkish and mediterranean items. We will certainly drop in again.
The Turkish delight in the window caught our eye originally as we wandered down the street. We had to go in and get some, having only ever had the pink jelly wrapped in chocolate, usually from the British Store in Steveston. We also took our time in the shop, finding other little treats (savory, since we had sweet covered) to buy. We managed to spend a fair bit of time here enjoying all the exotic spices and things. Staff was friendly and helpful too. Would 100% recommend this store.
