I really love Istanbul Market! It’s a very clean, well-organized place, and I enjoy shopping there. The store has a great atmosphere, and I’ve generally had a good impression of it. However, yesterday we bought two pounds of fish for $28, and unfortunately, it had a really bad smell. After eating some of it, my tongue started itching, and my friend experienced the same thing. I hope the store can look into this issue because I really like shopping there and would love to continue being a customer.
This wasn't my first time going to a Turkish market in America; I've been to many, and I understand that many of them have a flawed mentality, competing with each other in ripping people off. But the products in these Istanbul markets are not only misshapen, for example, the syrup in the desserts is gone, but they also surpass everyone else in their rip-off practices. It's shameful to rip people off; the prices on the labels don't match the prices at the checkout, even after adding taxes.
