I heard of this store from a friend who lives in Orleans, he spoke highly about this place, I decided to stop by it this afternoon. It's a cozy small cafe and market, I believe it is the only Turkish market in the east end of Ottawa. They have a wide range of authentic Turkish products, from rice to coffee maker. I bought a can of Turkish coffee, I'll make it on the stove. I talked with the owners, they are genuinely nice people, and offered me a cup of welcoming coffee. Wish them prosperous
Istanbul Bazaar is truly an excellent Turkish market in Ottawa! It's the only Turkish market in Orleans, offering a fantastic selection from beef and chicken döner to fresh cakes, coffee to pastries, and a wide range of market products including baklava. The quality and taste of their products are outstanding. If you're looking for quality and delicious items, you should definitely visit Istanbul Bazaar. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
It was great meeting you today! The hospitality was truly exceptional, and the snacks were delicious. The sucuk tost was made with such love and inspiration that it really stood out. I just wish you all continued success and growth—your passion really shines through!
I found this café online while looking for a European market in the Orleans area. I found it on Uber Eats and thought I would give it a try, it was just delicious. The izmir Kumru was the first item I ate and I just loved it! The bread was amazing and the sliced meat plentiful and delicious. The Turkish bagel/simit and chocolate filled soft bagel were also delicious. It was a new experience for me and I was not disappointed. The only thing I found mildly disappointing was the price of over 7 dollars for 2 small pieces of baklava but I'm sure it will also taste great.
UPDATE:
Finally had my own Donair on our Fri-yay dinner! Did not disappoint!
Even had a nice chat with Gem and Sulaiman. Will be back, for sure!
First visit months ago and bought few items. Their Turkish bagel was delish!!! I even started making them at home from scratch! Yummy! Went back tonight and hubby had their Donair which is only available from Thursday to Sunday. Excellent!!! I’m not a fan of Donair since I haven’t really found a good one. But this one, I’m getting next time! It’s huge and even without the sauce is delish! 👍👍
