It’s clear they are committed to maintaining the standards of Turkish cuisine while making it accessible abroad. Whether you’re originally from Turkey and longing for a taste of home, or you’re new to these flavors and curious to explore, this is a great place to start. We’ve been consistently satisfied and will definitely continue to recommend it to others who appreciate quality and authenticity.
Excellent Istanbul restaurant! Everything is very tasty and fresh — you can feel it’s made with love. Service is top-notch — the staff are polite, attentive, and pleasant to talk to. Definitely five stars!
This place had changed so much since I been here last. They updated the inside and the outside of the store. It looks amazing and I love the little sweets area for baklava and halva and so on. I stopped in while I was getting my car worked on and got me a bunch of sweets..I saw a Dubai chocolate bar by the baklava stand but decided on buying the one I saw by the register that was made in house. It was delicious and tasted like a crunchy pistachio version of Kinder Bueno. I also grabbed myself a couple baklave. And then went to eat inside the restaurant part. I did not expect the amount of food he gave me i genuinely thought he'd give me a couple kebab and some dolme and id be done but it came with complimentary bread and a side of rice..ofcourse I had to get cacik to make it a full meal. I ate a quarter of it while I was there. It was very delicious and fresh and tasted like my mama's cooking.
This place just got a major glow-up and deserves all the praise for a job well done. I mean it! Ethnic grocery stores, take notes.
They sell everything from produce to halal meat, freshly baked bread, pre-made gift baskets, and all things in between. It is truly a one-stop shop. The store is well kept and hygienic (even the meat section) and just so esthetically pleasing. You walk in here, and you just can't help but smile.
And if you're able to stop in, make sure to eat at the restaurant. The food is so delicious and tastes authentic.
Great job, Istanbul Market!
The recently renovated café and grocery store looks fantastic. For lunch, you select your main dish (or dishes), which are served with rice and bread. The tray shown in my photo cost $33. They offer a variety of Mediterranean cuisine, including Turkish and Egyptian dishes.
