This shop definitely carries the best quality meat in town with a wide range of options. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality halal meat and great service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They always take the time to explain different cuts and even offer great cooking tips when you ask. You can also find a wide selection of international products ranging from everyday essentials to special ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere! One of my favorite stores in Rochester,NY.
After learning how this meat it handled and how it’s not filled with hormones like the meat we eat at grocery stores, I made the switch immediately. Way better quality
I’ve been buying my meat here for a while now, and it’s always top quality—fresh. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to recommend the best cuts for what I’m cooking. The place is clean and well-organized, and you can tell they care about their products and customers. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates good, fresh meat!
Unfortunately, in this day and age anonymous individuals can go to social media and add their “scarlet A” and spread derogatory statements and misinformation about individuals and/or small businesses in order to inflict harm on their livelihoods. It isn’t simply a matter of “he said she said”. All too often, there are underlying political, religious or even racial reasons for publicly posting such comments. I have been frequenting Halal Market and Meats for over two decades and I’ve always been satisfied by their superior efforts in providing high quality products and conscientious service. I seriously question the integrity of an individual that goes online and posts a one star review in order to encourage others to shun a small, family-run establishment. I think there are much more important bones to pick with powerful corporations and organizations.
