Located at 1500 Main Ave, Clifton, NJ. We offer an authentic taste of Turkey and the Middle East. Discover a rich selection of traditional ingredients, from vibrant spices and fresh vegetables to halal meats and exotic fruits.
Even though I don’t visit often, whenever I’m in the area I make a point of stopping by Istanbul Food Bazaar. It’s one of my go-to places for stocking up on authentic Turkish products to keep in the pantry or freezer and enjoy little by little at home.
Their selection is immense— from lokum (Turkish delight) (I recently tried a sour cherry variety and it was absolutely delicious), to pantry staples and specialty items that aren’t always easy to find elsewhere. I also love picking up simit here, and the quality of their grape leaves for yaprak sarma They also offer different kinds of börek, dairy products along with other prepared Turkish foods I haven’t seen in many other markets.
The butcher section is very well stocked, and it’s worth highlighting that the meat is halal-certified. Beyond food, I also appreciate how well supplied they are in cleaning products and personal hygiene items — the variety is noticeably broader than in other stores I’ve visited.
Overall, a good option in New Jersey for anyone looking for authentic Turkish imports and a well-rounded shopping experience.
This place is falling apart. I’m glad a competitor came in finally at the right time with much better service and location. This place just feels like an ongoing construction site — hard to get in, hard to even walk around through aisles. Always dirty.
If you feel the same, do not worry. It shouldn’t take that long for “Anatolia Market” to outrun this place. Keep up with it, or go out of this line of business.
The product selection is truly amazing, I can find everything I’m looking for. However, the cashiers and staff are quite rude and unfriendly. They don’t seem willing to help. If they were more polite and customer-oriented, the shopping experience would be much better.
The Turkish market with the widest product selection in the area. All the staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, taking the time to assist customers one-on-one. This personal approach truly makes shopping here a pleasure. You can meet a wide range of needs here not only for kitchen and grocery shopping, but also for cleaning products, personal care items, and kitchen essentials. Every time I shop here, it feels like I’ve taken a little trip to Türkiye and back. 🇹🇷✨
